Precondition failed · HTTP 412 · Not retryable

The version you sent no longer matches the resource, because it changed since you read it. For a callback endpoint, it can also mean the operation doesn’t apply to that kind of endpoint; the detail says which.

What to do

Re-read the resource and send its new ETag or version. If the detail says the operation doesn’t apply, don’t retry it.
